Service Notice

Marie Rush provides equine bodywork services only and is not a licensed veterinarian. Nothing said or done during a session is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prescribe for, or prevent any disease, injury, or medical condition — veterinary concerns should be directed to a licensed veterinarian immediately. Boarding Contract

This is the 2T Arena boarding contract. Signing it below creates a binding one-year agreement — there is no separate paperwork and no second signature. If the stall type you choose isn't available, 2T Arena will contact you within 48 hours and the agreement is void.

2T Arena — Boarding Contract

15681 Cavin Rd. Amarillo, TX  ·  806-477-9955

This agreement is made between 2T Arena located at 15681 Cavin Rd. in Randall County, Amarillo, TX 79119 and the Owner identified in the details and signature below, herein referred to as “Owner”.

  1. Term. This is a one (1) year agreement. The term begins on the start date confirmed by 2T Arena and runs for twelve (12) consecutive months, unless a different term is written into this agreement in advance and signed by both parties. Owner is responsible for the full twelve (12) months of board for the stall/pen reserved, whether or not the horse(s) remain on the property for the entire term. At the end of the term this agreement continues month to month at the then-current rate, unless either party gives written notice under the Notice & Early Termination section below.
  2. Stall availability. This agreement takes effect when Owner signs it, subject only to stall/pen availability. If 2T Arena cannot provide the stall/pen type selected, 2T Arena will notify Owner within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving this signed agreement; in that case this agreement is void, no payment is owed, and any payment already made is refunded in full. If 2T Arena does not give that notice within forty-eight (48) hours, the stall/pen is reserved for Owner and this agreement is in full effect.
  3. First payment. Owner agrees to send payment for the first month of board within three (3) business days of the date this agreement is signed. That payment reserves the stall/pen. After the first month, board is due in advance on the 1st day of each month as set out below. Failure to pay within three (3) business days does not cancel this agreement and does not release Owner from any obligation under it.
  4. Fees (fee schedule attached). In consideration of the amount per horse per month paid by the Owner in advance on the 1st day of each month, 2T Arena agrees to board said horse. (a) $20.00 late fee if paid after the 10th of the month. (b) $35.00 returned check fee.
  5. Standard of care. All care is provided by Owner, including but not limited to: Feeding, watering, daily stall/pen cleaning (including surrounding areas), cleaning of feed storage area, veterinary and farrier care — unless additional fees are paid for full care. If horse(s) are leaving the property for more than 24 hours, please clean the stall/pen and surrounding areas prior to departure. If not cleaned, 2T Arena will charge $20.00 a day until cleaned. If 2T Arena cleans it, it will charge $80.00.
  6. Risk of loss. While the horse is boarded, 2T Arena shall not be liable for any sickness, disease, theft, death or injury suffered by the horse(s) or any other cause of action arising from or connected to the boarding of this horse(s). All risks are assumed by the Owner. The Owner agrees to hold 2T Arena harmless from any loss or injury to said horse(s). All costs, no matter how catastrophic, connected with boarding are borne to the Owner. 2T Arena is not responsible for accident, illness, or injury of persons or any personal property. Owner is responsible for any and all damages done by Owner’s horse while boarding at this facility (i.e. barns, fencing, stalls or any other property on the premises), also to include stall mats, leveling of ground inside stalls and any damages caused by not properly cleaning on a daily basis.
  7. Indemnity. Owner agrees to hold 2T Arena harmless from any claim caused by said horse(s) and agrees to pay legal fees incurred by 2T Arena in defense of a claim resulting from damage by said horse(s).
  8. Emergency care. If medical treatment is required, 2T Arena will attempt to call the Owner, but in the event Owner is not reached, 2T Arena has the authority to secure emergency veterinary and/or farrier care. Owner is responsible to pay all costs relating to this care. 2T Arena is authorized as Owner’s agent to arrange billing to the Owner. In the event of death, Owner is responsible to arrange and pay for disposal.
  9. Ownership / Coggins test. Owner warrants that they own the horse(s) and will provide, prior to the time of delivery, proof of a current negative Coggins test. Owner agrees to notify 2T Arena immediately in writing of any contagious health problems the horse has had or may incur. Owner also agrees to provide any veterinary reports of contagious diseases to 2T Arena.
  10. Termination. 2T Arena may terminate this agreement at its discretion. Bad behavior of the horse, past contagious diseases and contagious diseases incurred while boarding shall be the basis for prompt removal of the horse and termination of the agreement. In the event of a default by Owner, 2T Arena has the right to recover legal fees and court costs resulting from the failure to meet material terms of this agreement.
  11. Notice & early termination. Owner agrees to give 2T Arena thirty (30) days written notice to terminate this agreement. Notice will be from the 1st of the month to the 1st of the following month. NO mid month prorate will be applied. Thirty (30) days notice sets the move-out date. It does not cancel the remainder of the term. If Owner ends this agreement before the end of the twelve (12) month term, Owner remains responsible for board for the remaining months of the term. That balance is due in full before the horse(s) leave the property, unless Owner and 2T Arena agree in writing to a payment arrangement before the move-out date. Upon removal of horse(s): (a) Stall/pens and feed storage areas will be cleaned. (b) Any and all damages repaired at Owner’s expense and verified by 2T Arena.
  12. Right of lien. 2T Arena has the right to lien as set forth by the laws of the State of Texas for the amount due and owing for board and/or additional agreed upon services and shall have the right, without process of law, to retain or sell said horse(s) and any other personal property of the Owner on the premises to satisfy amounts owing.
  13. Age & capacity to contract. Owner must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to sign this agreement. By signing, Owner confirms they are eighteen (18) or older and are legally able to enter a binding contract and to accept financial responsibility for the amounts owed under it. 2T Arena may void this agreement and require removal of the horse(s) if it learns the signer was under eighteen (18) at the time of signing.
  14. Binding agreement & electronic signature. This is a legally binding contract. When Owner types their full legal name and submits this agreement, that submission is Owner’s signature and carries the same effect as a handwritten signature under the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. No countersignature, follow-up call, or additional paperwork is required for this agreement to take effect. Finding a lower rate elsewhere, changing plans, or never delivering the horse(s) to 2T Arena does not release Owner from this agreement. A copy is emailed to Owner at the address given above — please save or print it.
THIS AGREEMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS AND IS ENFORCEABLE IN RANDALL COUNTY, TEXAS.

Fee Schedule (1 year agreement)

  • Indoor Stalls w/runs: $300 per month — all stalls must be kept with at least a minimum of three bags of shavings.
  • Outdoor Medium Pens (Up to 2 horses): $350 per month
  • Outdoor Small Pens (Only 1 horse): $300 per month
  • Outdoor Large Pens (Up to 3 horses): $500 per month

  • Vacation feeding and stall cleaning: $15 per day
  • Full Care Boarding: Stall/Pen monthly cost plus $225 per month. A credit card will need to be kept on file with HF&C and 2T Arena to cover feed and supplies.
  • Panel Walker: $6 per 20 minutes
If stalls/pens are not cleaned daily, Owner will be given a 7 day notice to clean. After 7 days, 2T Arena will clean them at a rate of $80. Rate will increase depending on severity of condition.
You are signing a one-year agreement. Moving out early does not end it — you owe board for the full twelve months either way. Thirty days notice sets your move-out date, not the end of your balance. First payment due within 3 business days.

  1. Transport. Carrier will transport the horse(s) from the pick-up location to the delivery location on the agreed date(s), using reasonable care.

Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Carrier from all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from transport services, and is responsible for any trailer damage caused by the horse(s) and any emergency expenses incurred during transport.
  7. Insurance. Mortality and major-medical insurance on the horse(s) is the Owner's responsibility.

Equine Bodywork Waiver & Informed Consent

Acknowledgment of services. Marie Rush of Dun Right Equine provides equine bodywork services only — soft tissue manipulation, stretching, massage, mobility work, relaxation techniques, and general wellness support. Marie Rush is not a licensed veterinarian; nothing said or done is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prescribe for, or prevent any disease, injury, illness, or medical condition. Any comments on a horse's movement, behavior, soreness, or comfort are observational only, not veterinary diagnoses. Veterinary concerns should be directed to a licensed veterinarian immediately.

Assumption of risk. Working with horses involves inherent risks, including injury to horses, handlers, or spectators; property damage; unpredictable horse behavior; aggravation of pre-existing conditions; and reactions during or after bodywork. Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with services provided by Dun Right Equine.

Release of liability. In consideration for services, Client releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless Dun Right Equine and Marie Rush from any and all liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from or related to injury or death of any horse, injury to any person, property damage, horse behavior during or after services, or worsening of existing conditions — whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Arizona, Colorado, and Texas.

Emergency veterinary care. If Marie Rush believes emergency veterinary attention may be necessary, Client remains solely responsible for contacting and retaining a licensed veterinarian and for all related costs.

Arizona, Colorado & Texas law each provide that an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
